WA worker killed on the job

ceiling Another tragic death has highlighted why  Western Australian has laws prohibiting working in ceilings with live cables. 

Investigations are continuing but early indications are that an electrical apprentice was working in a ceiling space when he came into contact with live parts.

MEA is saddened by the tragic loss of a young life.

This fatal accident highlights the importance of isolating electrical supply before entering ceiling spaces. In WA it is the law and this incident reinforces why this requirement exists.
