Testing and Verification Sessions 1-4: Burnie

Join Master Electricians Field Support Advisor for a Testing and Verification session

Gain an understanding of legislated requirements for completing testing and verification, and how to apply them in a practical sense.

The session will include:

  • information presentation including related legislation requirements for mandatory testing
  • a practical test on switchboards to identify faults and complete the mandatory testing requirements as per AS/NZS3000
  • A brief revision of the testing procedures as prescribed in the recently updated AS/NZS 3017:2022 Electrical installations – Verification by inspection and testing.
  • a 10-questionnaire exam (100% score required for a pass).

Note: attendees are required to bring their own test equipment and anything else required to complete the testing, including:

  • Multi-meter
  • Megger
  • Small hand tools, i.e., screw drivers
  • Plier
  • Pen

The session will provide assistance on where to find further guidance materials including Acts, Regulations and Australian Standards.

A copy of the information presentation and a completion certificate will be emailed to all attendees who satisfactorily complete the session.

These are only small, grouped sessions so please book early. Limit 20 attendees per session.
