CPD points earning opportunity for Tasmania
Electrical licence holders in Tasmania are required to achieve 36 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points every 3 years, with an average of 12 points a year.
Master Electricians Australia is hosting a series of Testing and Verification session this October to help our members to achieve their CPD points. Up to 6 points will be available for these sessions.
- 4 CPD Points awarded to attendees on satisfactorily completion of a Testing & Verification Session.
- 2 CPD Points awarded to attendees of a Q & A session.
You can attend both session types for the full 6 CPD points. All sessions are free for our members.
Testing & Verification Session Information:
This session will include:
- information presentation including related legislation requirements for mandatory testing
- a practical test on switchboards to identify faults and complete the mandatory testing requirements as per AS/NZS3000
- a 10-questionnaire exam (100% score required for a pass).
Note: attendees are required to bring their own test equipment and anything else required to complete the testing.
The session will provide assistance on where to find further guidance materials including Acts, Regulations and Australian Standards.
A copy of the information presentation and a completion certificate will be emailed to all attendees who satisfactorily complete the session.
Q & A Session Information:
A panel discussion covering testing and verification, metering code of practice, SIRs and AS/NZS 3017:2022 updates.
All questions will be welcomed.
